To encourage good reading habits, we will be conducting a school wide reading incentive program called the 100 Book Challenge. Students who choose to participate read "Scholastic Reading Counts" books and take the corresponding quizzes. Students progress will be checked quarterly. The students from each grade level who earn 75 or more points or read 25 or more books will earn a gift certificate to Perkin's. All students who earn 300 SRC points or read 100 SRC books will be honored at our year-end awards assembly and will be eligible for a special prize that will be drawn at random. One prize will be awarded per grade level.
Students can use the books they read for the 100 Book Challenge for the Pizza Hut Book-It Reading Incentive Program as well.
